Learning about allergy symptoms will help you pinpoint potential causes and allow you to adjust your lifestyle accordingly to avoid these annoying nuisances and enjoy a normal standard of living once again.

In general, these allergy related symptoms are usually put into several main categories, including mild, moderate, and severe reactions or symptoms. It is important to be well aware of the level of your severity so that you may best protect yourself against a dangerous overreaction and better yet, prevent them altogether.

In reference to mild allergy based symptoms, mild symptoms can include suffering from a rash, itchy or watery eyes and congestion. The good part about these mild reactions is that they do not typically spread to other parts of the body.

In regards to moderate allergy based symptoms, these symptoms can unfortunately include spread to other parts of the body. These symptoms include itchiness and can even include difficulty breathing.

Severe allergy symptoms (also known as anaphylaxis) are fortunately a bit more rare, but when they do strike can cause some very serious problems. In fact, these severe symptoms can even create some life threatening emergences. This is because your body’s response to the allergen is sudden and affects your entire body. These symptoms include different degrees of swellings that can cause you to have trouble breathing and swallowing, abdominal pain, cramps, vomiting, diarrhea, mental confusion or dizziness and more.
